I've been a bedroom DJ since 2000 when I set up my technic 1200s in my college dorm room, bought a cheap mixer(no monitor!), and made sets for me and friends who liked the music. I appreciate the work it takes to find tracks that work together in smooth long transitions, the story of the set, and love the sublime quality of good and intelligent breaks. Music is a very personal and individual thing for each person. For me, a good set is a soundtrack or a story to tell. A still shot in life, good or bad, which may change as time and perspective allow. I have so many amazing memories and moments connected with certain sets by favorite DJs. My sets are soundtracks for me made over the years, covering memories and experiences I wouldn't trade for the world, and I hope they can be for you as well while you listen. Enjoy.
