I'm a Brighton-based record collector, crate digger and DJ. I run a regular vinyl-only night called Keep Diggin' at Dead Wax Social in Brighton's North Laine, playing golden age hip hop, reggae, funk, breakbeat, boogie, disco, and classic house. I've been DJing since 1992, collecting records since the early 80s. My first love was (and still is) hip hop, discovered as a young kid through the Streetsounds Electro series. That led on to acid house, rave, hardcore, jungle, DnB and more. I promoted and DJ'd at various jungle and hardcore nights in Newcastle and London during the mid/late 90s and early 00s including Warning, History of Dance, Nostalgia, In Effect and Lines. This is a selection of live DJ sets recorded at Keep Diggin', promo and studio mixes, pirate radio recordings and various tape rips from back in the day.
