I started at the age of 14 with the influence of my older brother who was in a rock band in High School and he started playing music in between their break at the gigs he and his band played at. One of his fellow drummer's dad owned a Greek Restaurant back in the 70's and occasionally would have a DJ there on the weekends, as the restaurant went another way there was a pair of 1200's collecting dust. So my brother traded his drum set for the pair 1200's and I was just floored seeing how they worked and got hooked from the start. With playing piano since I was in the 1st or 2nd grade and playing Trumpet in Elementary school and High School gave me a keen sense of music and hoe to counts beats so it was easy to learn how to mixes songs on 1200's buy counting beats and the rest was history. I love mixing as it was always a challenge to develop you own technique and style for listeners to be entertained.
