DJ MADOUT…………………………THE BIOGRAPHY The explosion of dancehall and reggae music in the American mainstream over the years inspired DJ Madout to follow his musical pursuits. The New York based disc jockey has transcended his artistry beyond boundaries, rising to the top of his game. DJ Madout was not known as a musical geek who was always “extra early and always in front” when it came to music classes. Professionally trained on the saxophone and trombone, his ear for music began to grow and mature with sounds, beats and notes. An avid musical connoisseur, DJ Madout found music through all aspects of life. Influential reggae greats like Sizzla to alternative bands like Green Day greatly impacted his musical style. The hard work he put in has paid off in a big way. He was once the touring DJ for the late international rhythm and blues singer Natalie Cole.
