The Disco Boys

In times of techno and trance, they established a subtype of house music in Hamburg in 1995, the so-called disco-house, by combining electronic house beats with classic disco grooves on the turntables. The journey took them through their own events, many singles, their own mix compilation series (currently Volume 21), all well-known electronic music festivals, and many appearances abroad, such as a mini tour through China in 2005, which back then was rather unusual. Their motto was never solely DJ self-expression, but the mission to take people on a club night on a journey and make them dance to music they wouldn't have danced to before. What began in 1995 peaked in 2005 with the platinum-selling hit "For You". Through it, they received the audience award for "Best House Artist" at the "Dance Music Awards" and in 2014 "For You" came in at number 6 on german television channel SAT1's "Ultimate Chart Show" on the topic "The most successful long-running hit of all time".
