DJ-J-ME (The Soul Shack)

With a new Soul Shack mix each month, DJ-J-ME started "The Soul Shack" over a decade ago in Nov. '05 as a way to share with the world his take on 'good' music...made with soul. From soulful & classic house to nu disco & chillwave to neo-soul & nu-jazz to rn'b to old school, funk and 'real' hip hop, it's all fair game on "The Soul Shack". Each month, depending on Jamie's mood you may hear any or all of the above music - sometimes a mixed bag of 'all things soulful', sometimes just a particular theme or genre...but always soulful! DJ-J-ME started his career as a mobile dj but over the past 10 years he has been building a reputation as one of the leaders of Toronto’s ‘next generation’ of djs, bringing his soulful & eclectic sound to upscale venues across Toronto, TIFF gigs as well as abroad in New York, Chicago, Miami & LA.
